Oil from Naturhaus for the Olympic Press Center in Canada
The natural paint manufacturer has enhanced the wood surfaces at the International Media and Press Center in Vancouver using a high-performance oil of its own production. More than one metric ton of the Naturhaus product was used for treating the wall panels in the worldwide media reporting control center just opened. Riedering (near Munich/Germany) — The good international contacts of Naturhaus paid off in the order placed with the family business from Riedering.
Naturhaus and the Olympics, this is a relationship that also has tradition. As early as 1998, the Austrian press center at the Winter games in Nagano treated its wood floors using Naturhaus products. In Turin in 2006, the life-sized wooden art on the Olympic compound was protected by oils from Naturhaus. However, the most important reference this time for the renewed large order amounting to 20,000 euros was the cruise giant, the Queen Mary II. The wood surfaces of the ship were also protected against the adversities of the Seven Seas with great success using Hard Oil High Solid from Naturhaus.
These products are manufactured exclusively using renewable raw materials. Oils, such as the product used in the international press center, guarantee, with their high performance, a healthy, pleasant room climate — and consequently optimal working conditions for the 7000 journalists from throughout the world who, just like the athletes, have a strenuous job to do during the Olympics.
This building will provide 52 seminar and conference rooms with areas up to 700 square meters, the largest ballroom in Canada with a complete glass wall facing the harbor and, at 25,000 square meters, the largest "living" roof surface in the world containing 400,000 native plants. "Naturhaus views it as a great honor to be able to contribute to this monumental building," state Therese and Harald Kastenhuber, proudly taking stock of the large order. Back: News |
